Monsoon season in the Mojave

Went out for a drive to watch some of the afternoon monsoon storms roll through the eastern Death Valley region between Death Valley Junction and Shoshone.

This system caused a flash flood warning and made for some spectacular downburst viewing.
The rain shaft from that radar image.
Another downburst falling on the Greenwater Range west of Death Valley Junction.
